Technically speaking, I'm a self-taught artist and designer. I think of myself as being somewhat like an inventor, driven by passion. My artwork centers around three primary interior design techniques:
Faux Painting, as would be applied to walls.
Decoupage uses imagery, often found in my collection of antique books, electronically reproduced, printed on hand-dyed paper and applied to various mediums.
Plaster Mache Sculpture uses wall texturing materials, cured and faux painted.
Wood is the primary material used as the foundation for my art. Occasionally I like to incorporate everyday objects such as hardware, old watch parts, silk flowers or buttons.
Art is signed and identified by the "Pea Pod" trademark logo.
